Very handsome, German edition of Bellin's large-scale chart of the island filled with meticulous topographical and nautical detail. The map names Diamant, Marigot, Trinite and many other places of interest. It shows roads, topography, soundings, villages, windmills, and plantations. The map is decorated with a fine compass rose, rhumb lines and rococo-style cartouches enclose both the title and the key.
