This popular atlas created by the National Map Company, features 144 pages including index, gazetteer and an amusing page of highway signs. Maps are printed on both sides of the sheet; so that each state is presented with a map showing the roads on one side and the counties and political information on the other. Soft cover folio, in reddish brown wraps.
Most maps are good, a few with slight tears at the outer edges not affecting the images. Louisiana map has a large tear with old cello tape repair. Text generally good with usual toning. Covers show significant wear with some curling at the corners. Ink notation inside front cover regarding circa date of atlas.
