Scarce vellum leaf printed in Gothic textura type with illuminated capitals and an iron-engraved border. This is from the Book of Revelations, with decorations including the Seven-Headed Beast of the Apocalypse and the Archangel Michael. Printed vellum Book of Hours leaves are very scarce, as they were only produced between 1496 and 1530.

Very good with old hand coloring, some of which was splashed on the margin.
