A collection of vintage copper engraved views from around the world. Each is most decorative and surrounded by a large and ornate border frame. All measure approximately as noted, in both orientations. Included in this lot are some fine views of Athens, the Congo, Greenland, Canada, America, Africa, some fine costume plates, and much more. A few titles: Beaver Hunting in Canada; the Great Water-Fall on the Mohawk River; Columbus presenting an Account of his Discoveries of America to the King and Queen of Spain; Ruins of Athens (Temple of Theseus and the Theatre); Tarabites or Peruvian Rope Bridges; Men and Women of St. John on of the Philippine Islands; Habits of the Groenlanders; The Ruins of the Lanthorn of Demosthenes at Athens; and The Emperor of China, plus eleven more.
