Large hemispheric map centered on the North Pole with the notation, "Ice is supposed to extend from 83° all around the pole." The northern coastlines of North America and Greenland are left open-ended. Terrific detail within the continents with hundreds of place names and much information on watershed and topography. The map extends south to the equator.
Strong impression with original color and wide margins. Some toning or foxing in blank margins. Map has a light stain just into border at left, else very good.
