This survey chart of South Carolina between St. Helena Sound and Port Royal Sound was produced during the Civil War. An inset shows the continuation of the river north to the town of Beaufort. Complex soundings fill the chart.

Folding as issued. Light toning along folds with a couple of spots in map. Binding trim along left side, with lower neatline trimmed.
