Beautiful woodblock map covering the historic region of Franconia, one of the five stem duchies of medieval Germany. The map is centered on the Main River, with north at the bottom. It includes the cities of Nurnburg, Bamberg, Coburg and Wurzburg. The title is in the upper margin. German text and illustration on verso.
