This is a backed and bound example of the Illustrated London News' supplement that was "Given with the Illustrated London News" in 1845. The double panoramic perspectives of London are as seen from the south between Vauxhall Bridge, and from the Isle of Dogs. Printed one above the other on one sheet by William Little. The bird's-eye views are mounted on period linen and bound in original marbled cover (13"x 17") with morocco spine and corners. The leather label "River Thames in 1845" features a decorative border and lettering in gilt. This is a great panoramic work with many ships, trains, bridges, and much more.
