Interesting, decorative chart centered on a wind rose surrounded by astronomical diagrams and enclosed in an elaborate rococo border that was printed from a separate copper plate. A lovely example of this handsome engraving.

Crisp impression on thick hand laid paper with original margins. Slightest hint of some toning or soiling near centerfold below compass rose, else fine.
