Nice matched set of decorative steel engraved maps by Tallis. The first map features good detail and four beautifully engraved vignettes of Swimming Couriers of Peru, Tarija, Potosi, and Lima. The second map has similar detail and includes five vignettes of Travelling Post, The Gobernador, Water Seller of Buenos Ayres, the Grand Square, and the Grand Square in Buenos Ayres. Both are surrounded by delicately engraved and decorative borders. Borders and vignettes are uncolored, as issued.
