An excellent, large format state and county map showing the status of public surveys and many details throughout the state. A legend explains symbols for land districts, military posts, Indian reservations, railroad limits (land grants), etc. Abundant place names are shown including the Carson Sink, Virginia and Silver City, Las Vegas, and much more. Topography and hydrology are nicely developed. The map is backed with original linen and was issued in atlas format. A large section containing the distance scale, year and imprint has been patched into the map at the time of the linen backing.
Light even toning. Short fold separations in paper, held together by linen.
