This is a reduced version of Hondius' folio map of the same title. It was based on John White's Virginia and Jacques le Moyne's Florida as interpreted by Theodore de Bry. Numerous Indian villages are shown throughout and in the Apalacci Montes there is a notation concerning the presence of both gold and silver. Strapwork title and scale of miles cartouches decorate. German text on verso.
