This complete folio atlas features large scale maps of all states and territories. Some very nice maps including Texas, Indian Territory, California and more. Most maps are printed front and back. The maps are about evenly split between half-page and full-page, with the full-page maps measuring approximately 21 x 13 inches. Two very large folding maps of the hemispheres. City plans including Kansas City, Atlanta, and the others normally seen. Oblong folio, hardbound in brown cloth with embossed and gilt titling, title page, Table of Contents, maps, text, index, 300 pages. Tunison atlases are one of the more desirable of the later issues.

Front cover loose, front end paper missing. Long tear in the folding Western Hemisphere, the other maps are generally very good to fine. Last page misfolded resulting in roughness at bottom.
