An early map of Switzerland with north oriented at the bottom of the chart. The map was based on the work of Aegidius Tschudi, a historian of the Swiss Confederation. The title in engraved onto the top of an unusual three dimensional title box. Latin text on verso.

Condition: B

Lightly toned with a bit of faint foxing. Old repair on bottom fold separation.
