The title continues "With ye names of ye Rivers, Seaports, Sands, Hills, Moors, Forests &c. All ye Great or Post Roads, and principal Cross-Roads &c. With ye Computed Miles from Town to Town, and all ye Post Towns, as they are at present regulated by the Postmasters Genl. of the General Post House. According to ye most approved Surveys, and accurate Observations by Herman Moll Geographer. A.D. 1710."

This is a large and finely engraved chart with remarkable detail throughout, locating hundreds of villages, towns, and much more. In the title, the "South Part" of Great Britain refers to the constitutional union of England and Scotland of 1707. The large and decorative title and dedication cartouches are fully colored. The map is printed on two sheets and joined, as issued. The imprint at top left reads "Printed for H. Moll, over against Devereux Court without Temple Bar… By Whom are to be sold these maps, done by ye said Mr. Moll. The World, Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, South America, A map of the Roman Empire &c. each in two sheets where also may be had a New Pocket Globe of 3 Inches Diameter with all the new Constellations of Mr. Hevelius &c. Sold by Robt. Sayer of the Golden Buck in Fleet Street. And by John King at the globe in the Poultry." Gazetteer panels at left and right list hundreds of place names keyed to the map. Published circa 1730. A nice example of this map with very few flaws for its size.
