Very nice French & Indian War period map of the English colonies from Pennsylvania through Maine with their early boundaries. Fully engraved with topographical features. The colonies are shown confined east of the Allegheny Mountains, with the Nations Iroquoise, Indian villages and several French forts located west of the mountains. Decorative cartouche in the flourishing French style. A very nice example of this map.
