Nicely engraved map of eastern France on the Swiss border around the area of Besancon. Highly detailed with hundreds of towns and villages shown. The decorative title cartouche was engraved by E. Haussard indicating this is the second state.

Condition: A

Nice impression and fine original outline color. Printed on a large sheet of hand laid paper with wide margins and watermark. Slight hint of toning along centerfold from backstrap adhesive.
