33 x 26.4 cm
Fine copper engraving with a birds-eye plan and panoramic view of Visby. A former Viking site on the island of Gotland, Visby was the main center of the Hanseatic League in the Baltic from the 12th to the 14th century. Twin cartouches list 38 of the city's important buildings and gates.
Light soil in margins, one tiny spot in view, still very good.
