This copper engraved map illustrates the French and English fleets near Norfolk and Hampton Roads, Virginia during the Revolutionary War. The French fleet lies in Lynn Haven Bay, with the British fleet in a long line in the middle of the bay and to the east of Middle Ground.

On a full sheet of hand laid paper with wide margins. Short marginal split at bottom and hint of toning along fold, else very good.
