Carte de la Moscovie Meridionale, by Paul de La Feuille, from Geographisch-Toneel published by Johannes Ratelband in Amsterdam, circa 1720 (10.4 x 7"). This is an uncommon little map of southern Russia and part of the Ukraine. The map is filled with remarkable detail for its size. It was based on the cartography of J. N. Delisle.

Nova et accurata Turcicarum et Tartaricarum Provinciarum, by Matthias Seutter, from Atlas Minor published in Augsburg, circa 1720 (10 x 7.8"). This is an equally attractive small map of the region north of the Black Sea with good detail of fortified cities and roads. Decorative title cartouche and compass rose.
