Attractive map of Thuringen based on Adolar Erich's important map of 1625. Roughly centered on Erfurt, it extends to include Mansfeld, Halle, Muhlhausen and Meiningen. Embellished with a fine title cartouche surrounded by cherubs, a coat-of-arms, and a dedication cartouche to Joachim a Wickevoort, signed by Johannes and Cornelius Blaeu. Latin text on verso.
