Fine map of central France including Bourges, Nevers, Moulins and Vichy. Densely packed with information on the cities, villages, forests, lakes, rivers and mountains. Decorated with a lovely title cartouche engraved by Hussard. Robert de Vaugondy's Atlas Universel was one of the most successful and enduring works of the latter part of the eighteenth century.
