Charming miniature map of the North American continent featuring the island of California. The Great Lakes are open-ended in the west and called Mer Douce and there is a north-south range of mountains called Mont de Saula. Title in drape-style cartouche. First state, with the Barania R labeled in Mexico. French text on verso.
