A collection of 16 lovely steel engraved portraits of historically important British personalities. Each is surrounded by a very decorative border. The collection includes Captain Cook, Sir Francis Drake, Sir Joseph Banks, Viscount Nelson Horatio, Richard - First Earl Howe, John Locke, King Charles the Second, Lucius Carey - Viscount Falkland, Queen Elizabeth, Francis Bacon - Viscount St. Albank, Sir Walter Raleigh, Queen Anne, Prince Rupert, William Pitt - Earl of Chatham, and the title page. Size given is page size. A great set of portraits published by R. Montgomery Martin.
