Very finely engraved large map of the region of the world that was known in classical times, with up-to-date detail of topography and place names. The Nile River is still shown with its twin lakes source in the Lunae Montes located above the Equator. Eight distance scales and extensive notes complete the map. Drawn by Haywood and engraved by George S. Allen.
