This is a lovely scene with two male and two female dancers with a tropical background. With perhaps a nod to the English public, the female dancers are attired with strategically placed coconuts. Cook visited Tahiti on all three voyages, and it was one of the principal goals of the first voyage. During his stop here on the third voyage, he fell ill, but was helped back to health by the massages from Chief Tu's female relatives.
