Very decorative map of French Flanders in what is now southern Belgium and northern France. The map is centered on Lille and includes Le Bassee, Douay, Tournay and Courtray. The map is a masterpiece of the engraver's art, and is notable for its elaborate heraldic decorative elements that fill three corners and finely engraved title and scale cartouches. German text on verso.
