First is a fine map of Nyborg and vicinity with a lovely view of the city below. The map is embellished with a great compass rose with ships shown in the harbor and the map and view are surrounded by a boldly engraved border. Second depicts the Danish defenses at Nyborg against the Swedish invasion of November 1659. The large title cartouche incorporates a key to the location of the various forces. An interesting pair of engravings from Pufendorf's chronicle on The Northern Wars and military campaigns of Sweden's King Charles X.
