Includes issues 63 and 67 through 70, plus the index to 51-60. The Map Collector magazine was founded by Ronald Vere Tooley in 1977. Over the next two decades it built a reputation as a highly respected resource on the history of cartography and collecting antique maps. Subjects in these issues include the cartographer Thomas Kitchin, Soldan's atlas of Peru, geological maps of Canada, mapping of Bermuda, printed maps of Wales, the 'Vinland Map' and much more.
