An excellent topographical map of Long Island from 100 years ago. Also shows well locations, waterworks pumping stations, groups of wells and lines of tunnels, etc. A colorful map with great detail on a scale of 1 inch = 2 miles. Contour intervals at 20 feet. Includes the continental coastline to Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Issued folding, now backed with archival tissue. On two sheets, issued joined. Scattered foxing along joint, else very good. Small University of Chicago stamp in lower margins, well away from neatline.
