Folding railroad map, also titled "The Short Line Across the Continent," with terrific details along the route. Vignette shows a train crossing the Niagara Falls Suspension Bridge plus a large inset of the western half of the U.S. detailing the rest of the rail route to San Francisco. Large text at top notes "Pullman's & Wagner's Commodious Hotel and Drawing Room Cars." On the verso are numerous timetables, daily trains, and a list of departure trains from Chicago.

Generally good condition except for some worming at two fold intersections and a little soiling on front. Folding as issued.
