This miniature map of Asia first appeared in Geography Rectified in 1680 and then was used for Patrick Gordon's Geography Anatomiz'd [1693-1719]. The page number indicated the map was published after 1699. Though with little detail, it is a pleasing map with a dotted line for the Siberian coast reflecting the paucity of information available for this region. The Caspian Sea is shown on a north-south axis. The Molucca Is. are prominently located in the East Indies.
