Strongly engraved map centered on Paris that shows the path of the solar eclipse. The extent of the eclipse is shown via three lines and a shaded area. Three vignettes showing how the sun appeared at maximum eclipse from London, Orleans and Boulogue.

A couple tiny spots and close trimmed with edge just to neatline at bottom right, as issued.
