This is a large vellum leaf from a Spanish manuscript, probably a legal document, made in Granada. The Spanish text is written in black/brown ink on lines ruled in red. One side is beautifully decorated with a very large (11-line) initial "L" in gold leaf on a ground of rich red and white.

Slight abrasions.

Estimate: $200 - $250
