A very fine vellum Bible leaf written in a regular gothic book hand; 42 lines in two columns. Two initials are beautifully decorated in gold, red and blue. The rubrics are in red, chapter numbers in red and blue and the ordinary initials in red and blue penwork. The text is from the epistle of St. Paul to the Thessalonians, the end of the first book and the beginning of the second.
