Woodblock Ptolemaic map of ancient Sarmatia (Caucasus and Crimean regions) located northeast of the Black Sea. Mountain ranges dominate the map and 3 gates are shown in the Caucasus Mountains. The Alexandri Columns are shown in present day Georgia.
