Unusual map of ancient Holland covering the northern provinces of North Holland, Friesland and Groningen, The Zuther Zee is still enclosed and a great portion of the country is covered with swamps and forests. Several settlements are named and major rivers are shown. The pictorial title cartouche is decorated with warriors and dragons.
