Handsome map of the Americas that also includes a good bit of western Europe and Africa. An unusual northwest coast of America that includes Martin d'Aguilar's Strait providing a Northwest Passage via the Great Lakes. The northwest is virtually blank with a notation concerning the Russian explorations in 1743. The European colonies are shown by dotted lines. Simple title cartouche and nice compass rose.
