A fine stipple engraved portrait of the late President Garfield. Samuel Hollyer (1826-1919) engraved excellent portraits of most of the celebrities of his time, as well as landscapes, bookplates, and vignettes for book-illustration. His specialty was stipple engraving, of which this is a very fine example. Published by The Henry Bill Publishing Company, Norwich CT. Signed in pencil by the artist.
