Little is written about the mapping of this region of Central Europe and this book provides an excellent reference for any enthusiast. The book covers maps made between the 15th and 18th centuries and provides great information on the cartographers. Text by Karel Kuchar, translated by Zdenek Safarik, 74 pp., with 12 double-page, full color plates. Hardbound in rust cloth, with dust jacket.
