Four separate maps of Amsterdam, each showing a different year - 1400, 1482, 1585 and 1612. Each map (11.2 x 9.7") is a fine detailed plan of the city showing its fortifications, shipyards, and major buildings. Elaborately decorated with ships, cartouches, figures and coats of arms. Four sheets joined to form this folio map.

Small stain at upper right. 2" tear bottom left and one chip entering map with loss of engraved border. Trimmed at bottom with slight loss of border. A beautiful impression, well deserving of professional restoration.
