A very handsome steel engraved chart prominently showing the East Indies, but extending to India and north to include all of the Philippines, Thailand and Burma. Inset of the British Isles on the same scale provides a sense of size. Delicately hand colored to indicate colonial control by Holland, France, England, Spain and Portugal.
