This map is a faithful copy of the one included in Giulio Iasolino's book about Ischia and its beneficial baths, published in 1568. The map is dated 1590, but is from the 1592 Latin edition based on the page number 83 on verso. Three large and decorative cartouches and a raging sea battle near the coast of Naples adorn the map. Beautifully engraved with fine detail of castles, villages, mountains, the baths, etc.
