A fine decorative map of Brazil with north oriented to the right. Two insets show Dutch interest in the area (Baja de Todos los Sanctos & Pernambuco). The interior is largely blank and features scenes of native life including warfare and cannibalism. Further decoration includes sailing ships and sea monsters and two decorative cartouches.
