Fine Revolutionary War period map covering entire eastern seaboard and the Great Lakes up to Lake Michigan with a great amount of detail. A very large inset of the Mississippi River valley occupies the Atlantic and a small inset covers the Gulf Coast from New Orleans to Appalichicola. A small vignette of Niagara Falls adds further interest to this fascinating map. Several of the colonies have odd shapes, but the topographical and settlement detail is very good. Also depicts forts and battlegrounds from both the French and Indian War and the Revolutionary War.
