Fascinating map covering from the Gulf of St. Lawrence to Georgia and inland to Lake Huron. Particularly good detail of the fishing banks and Indian place names, including the Nation of Chat located west of Maryland. Owen's Magazine of Magazines was a very short-lived publication (1750-51) consisting of mostly plagiarized articles and held in great contempt by the other London magazine publications. Jolly refers to it as a "great rarity".
