Fine vellum leaf from a Spanish manuscript, made in Granada in the early part of the 17th century. The Spanish text is written in black ink and each side is decorated with very large illuminated initials. The recto includes the initial "I" painted in gold leaf on a background of red and the verso includes the initial "D" on a blue background.

Text ink on verso is a bit faded. Hinge tape remnants in side margin.
