Centered on India, but extending to include Persia, east to the Ganges and north to well above Lahor. Great detail of mountains and rivers, walled cities, villages, temples, etc. Very decorative cartouche plus large and decorative distance cartouche with mermaid and mermen. Based on Blaeu's map of the same region.

Very fine impression. Toned along top margin just touching neatline, and soft crease at center. Terrific jester's cap watermark.
