19.3 x 22.5 inches

Second plate in this scarce series of cartographic oddities. The gigantic symbolic figure is an "Elector" in full robes, which are covered with listings of all the rulers of the Holy Roman Empire, princes, electors, and dukes. At the left is a pillar of heraldic coats of arms and on the right the crown and chair of state.
References: Tooley, (MCC) 1-36.
Original color. Minor toning along fold with couple of old repairs. Overall a very attractive example of this desirable and uncommon plate.
