Large colorful map of the world with the route of Bett's voyage clearly marked. Several recent discoveries in Antarctica are noted with the dates 1833 and 1839. The map is beautifully hand colored in outline and included good detail, particularly of the islands throughout the world. Dissected and mounted on original linen. Folding into original embossed cloth covered boards.
